It was founded in 1952 by James Feeney. The business started as a roadside nursery and garden center with 12 parking spaces. It offered trees, shrubs and fertilizer to gardening novices and landscape professionals. The business grew steadily by providing a commitment to quality merchandise and service.
Today, Feeney’s boasts 300 parking spaces and a 20,000 square foot indoor facility that offers gifts, indoor accessories and patio furniture. At the Christmas season Feeney’s creates the tri-state largest private holiday display, with the entire indoor facility being transformed into a winter wonderland.
